Shakeology is a dense nutrition shake that give you natural energy, will help you control cravings, improve digestion, help you lose weight and boosts your immunity. It is extremely effective when used as a meal replacement, or even addition to your everyday diet. Now let me tell you, like anyone else when i heard about this I was a little skeptical. I mean.. there are SO many "products" out there, and shakeology is not one of them! lets the ingredients and nutritional information do the speaking for themselves.
It took me a few days of drinking Shakeology to really start to feel a difference. I noticed I woke up in the morning quicker and happier. I could make it until lunch time without feeling like I had never slept. I could do my workouts more efficiently, and still have energy left over for the rest of my day (big for me!). I used to always experience bad bloating and what felt like awful gas cramps, and now they were gone! And lets not forget the weight loss! I am one to have a difficult time losing weight, i mean it usually takes me at least a month to lose 2-4 pounds. in 3 weeks I lost 7! this skeptic became a believer! I still would say you need at least a month to 3 months to feel full benefits. Dont quit if you aren't feeling miraculous right away! everyone's body is different, and it will take time for your body to detoxify and positively adjust to all this crazy nutrition you are now jam packing it with!
so with that being said I would love to share my favorite recipes so far! If you cant tell already, I may have had to much fun experimenting with flavors. here are some of my favorites, but there are still MANY MANY more combinations to make.!
Chocolate peanut butter cup
- 1 scoop or packet of chocolate shakeology
- 1 tsp of natural peanut butter
- 1/2 medium banana
- 1 cup of water or unsweetened almond milk (i used vanilla)
- ice
Thin mint Shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of chocolate shakeology
- 2 drops of mint extract
- 1 cup of water or unsweetened almond milk
- ice
Peppermint mocha shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of chocolate shakeology
- 2 drops of mint extract
- 1 1/2 cups of brewed coffee
- ice
Nutty Butter shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Vanilla shakeology
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 medium banana
- 1/4 cup of coarsely chopped raw walnuts
- 1 tbsp of peanut butter (tsp if on 21 day fix)
- ice
orange julius shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Vanilla shakeology
- 1 cup of low sugar orange juice
- 1/2 banana
- ice
vanilla latte Shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Vanilla shakeology
- 1 cup of brewed coffee
- 1/2 unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp of raw honey or pure maple syrup
apple pie Shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Vanilla shakeology
- 1 cup of almond or skim milk
- 1/2 cup of unswetenned apple sauce
- 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
Blueberry muffin Shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Vanilla shakeology
- 1 cup of unswetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup of blueberries
- 1 handful of dry rolled oats
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
tropical Strawberry shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Strawberry shakeology
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of frozen tropical fruit
- ice
Strawberry Lemonade shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Strawberry shakeology
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp of pure maple syrup
- ice
Greek strawberry-banana shakeology
- 1 scoop or packet of Strawberry shakeology
- 1/2 cup of non fat plain greek yogurt
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 medium banana
- ice
